Helping Manufacturers Selecting Right Material

Cold rolled steel is a group of steel which has various material grades. It is actually a process which refers to cold rolling of steel. Makers of cold rolled steel pass hot rolled steel through pickling. Pickling process removes impurities and oxides. Afterwards steel manufacturing industry passes the pickled coil strip through a rolling mill. The rolling mill operates below re-crystallization temperature (also known as cold rolling process). It improves the surface finish, strength, reduces the thickness of hot rolled steel.
The steel group is better in quality as compare to hot rolled steel and is therefore expensive. Manufacturers apply other processes on this type of steel to make it compatible for the operation. Subsequent processes are rewinding, annealing, skin passing etc. Industries apply galvanization, electroplating, color coating and other industrial processes on this steel to add enhanced value.
